Earlier this month, social media superstar Robert Scoble announced that he was leaving his job at FastCompany TV to pursue other exciting opportunities. Today in Austin at SXSW, Scoble announced to the world on the Gillmor Gang what he is up to next. He will be working for web hosting services company Rackspace to build a new content and social networking community called Building 43. The new project is "a place for people who are fanatical about the internet" and Scoble will be bringing along his producer, Rocky to help build this new community.
You can read Scoble's own announcement about this new project, including the reason for calling the project "Building 43", on his personal blog, Scobleizer. Get even more information from TechCrunch, who broke the news first, and be sure to look for the video of the announcement at SXSW here.
