The list of Yahoo! executives that have defected to Microsoft is growing. Besides executives, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer says the company has hired at least ten "key technologists" away from Yahoo!. Today it was announced that former Yahoo! VP Dayne Sampson has joined Microsoft as the new GM of its Global Foundation Services Group. He will report to the division's corporate VP, Debra Chrapaty.
Sampson was Vice President of Ops at Yahoo! prior to joining Microsoft. Before that he was Senior Vice President of IT and Ops at IAC.
