Ex Yahoo! Music Exec is New SurveyMonkey CEO

SurveyMonkey_logo.jpgPortland, Oregon based online survey creator SurveyMonkey announced today that it has hired former Yahoo! Music head Dave Goldberg to be its new Chief Executive Officer. Goldberg had been Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Benchmark Capital since leaving Yahoo! two years ago.

Before joining Benchmark Capital, Goldberg was General Manager of Music at Yahoo!. Prior to that he was Director of Marketing Strategy and New Business Development at Capitol Records in Los Angeles. Kara Swisher at AllThingsD broke this story, be sure to read her full post here.
