Online commerce platform ShopIt announced that it has hired social media professional and Bit.ly Community Manager Rex Dixon as its new Director of Publisher Management. Dixon will join the ShopitMedia team in Los Angeles but continue to work part-time for Bit.ly.
Dixon is a busy man. In addition to his new job and his work at Bit.ly, he is also a blogger/editor at social web and tech innovation blog SiliconANGLE. Previously he worked in Publisher Relations at Lookery.
