Trade association in the marketing and advertising industries Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA) announced today that it has hired John Moore to be its new WOM Enthusiast. In this role, Moore will be the company's chief evangelist, "to help generate excitement and acceptance for the practice of word-of mouth marketing (WOM) and for WOMMA's educational and advocacy services on behalf of WOM practitioners".
Prior to joining WOMMA, Moore worked in the marketing departments of Starbucks Coffee and Whole Foods Market. In 2005, John began the Brand Autopsy marketing practice where he served as its "Marketingologist". Be sure to check out his blog for more information.
