This is a newly created role and Bloom "will be responsible for leading the development of advanced 'intelligent video' software" for the Montreal based company. He will be based at the Dialogic Media Labs research headquarters in Eatontown, New Jersey.

Prior to joining Dialogic, Bloom was a Content Security Research Lab Manager and before that, Research Center Manager at Thomson Consumer Electronics. Before that he was Technology Leader at Sarnoff Corporation.
