Mashup management services company Mashery announced today that it has hired former Salesforce.com executive Rogue Versace to be its new Vice President of Sales. The San Francisco based company hopes to expand and become an early leader in API management.
Prior to joining Mashery, Versace was Vice President of Sales at electronic signature service EchoSign. Before that he was the Vice President of Corporate Sales at Salesforce.com.
ReadWriteWeb Vice President of Content Development and Lead Writer Marshall Kirkpatrick called Mashery "possibly the coolest company in Silicon Valley that most people have never heard of", back in 2007.
