Learn about Venture Capital from Khan Academy

With a catalog of over 2000 videos and with over 30 million lessons delivered, Khan Academy has become the world's most popular educational website. Salman Khan has the distinction of being "Bill Gates' favorite teacher," as the second richest man in the world says he uses the Khan Academy videos to help his children learn math and science.

Math and science are probably the courses for which Khan Academy is best known. When I had a chance to interview Khan last month, he said he chose those topics in part because they are often poorly taught.

But math and science aren't the only topics Khan teaches. Among the Khan Academy videos are several on the subject of venture capital, including "Raising money for a startup," "Getting a seed round from a VC," and "Going back to the till: Series B."

Like all of Khan's videos, each is fairly short - roughly 12 minutes in length. And while the videos aren't particularly in-depth, they do provide a great introduction to some of the concepts around valuation, equity, and investment.
