It's Monday and that means that the Interactive portion of SXSW is drawing closer and closer to its close tomorrow after a weekend of great talks, panels, parties and overall hoopla. While some of the most fun parts of SXSW may be behind us, there are still a lot of great things to go see in Austin, especially for those in the startup and entrepreneurship communities. So if you're looking for some interesting panels to attend before you catch your flight home later this week, here's a run down of some of the remaining startup-related talks and events.

It's coming up on three weeks since Apple announced its highly anticipated iPad device, and the news frenzy surrounding the announcement has begun to die down. As is the trend with many new devices, the response to the iPad has covered both extremes, from fans who claim the device will change the world, to haters wondering why anyone would spend a dime on it. One thing that is certain is that iPhone application developers are excited by the possibilities provided by the new tablet device, and now a new fund raising collaboration, AppFund, is looking to capitalize on this excitement.

In a deal that was surprising only in its price, CBS has announced that it will buy CNet, owners of everything from News.com to Download.com to our competitors Webware, for $1.8 billion.

That's 10% more than Google paid for YouTube, and that deal was all for stocks. CBS paid a 45% premium over CNet's closing stock price and it paid it mostly in cash. CBS buying CNet is a big, complicated deal with a lot of possible take aways, but below are ours.
