By Klint Finley / May 4, 2011 5:00 PM / View Comments

Thumbnail image for Thumbnail image for Thumbnail image for oraclelogo.jpg This week Oracle added iPhone and iPad support for Oracle Business Intelligence.

Last year Gartner predicted that by 2013, 33% of BI functionality will be consumed via handheld devices. Some of you thought this number was too conservative. Earlier this year, we did a round-up of BI tools for the iPad, and found most of the major players have already release an iPad app or iPad optimized site, and many other startups are in the space as well. Oracle, one of the largest BI vendors, was one of the only ones missing (though you could use third-party tools like Roambi instead). With Oracle now filling this gap in its own offerings, it seems that there's little holding mobile BI back.

Are you using mobile BI tools yet?
