Kim Kardashian, Beyonce and Twilight's Stephenie Meyer all come up on real time search engines if you type in "looks fat". And each of these women would see these painful comments if they listened to the publicist who told them to "measure brand conversation". When we last covered UberVU, the company had just launched ContextVoice API - an API that helps developers create tools for conversation tracking. Today, the company added new search functionality to ContextVoice with a number of useful filtering options.

ContextVoice Conversation API Launches

contextvoice_twitter_jun09.jpgWhen PR agencies encourage corporate executives to engage in public dialogue, they tell them to "embrace the chaos". As of today, chaos has a measurement API, and its name is ContextVoice. Romanian SeedCamp winner UberVU just launched ContextVoice in the hopes that inquisitive companies will "track the web's conversational graph". In other words, we're about to see a smorgasbord of brand commentary and all the social media trimmings will be there.

Interview: Socialthing! Founder Matt Galligan

I signed up for FriendFeed when it first came out and more recently I was lucky enough to get a private beta invite for Socialthing! as well. I sat down with Socialthing! founder and CEO Matt Galligan, to get a little insight into the differences and similarities between the two products.
